Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with QuickBooks Online (QBO) Certification, proven US accounting exposure, and prior experience working with accounting firms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients, including daily transaction recording, categorization, and reconciliation.

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations.

  • Process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.

  • Support general ledger maintenance and ensure data accuracy.

  • Handle payroll entry reviews and tax-related support documentation (if applicable).

  • Collaborate with US-based accounting firms and client teams to resolve variances and provide financial updates.

  • Maintain compliance with US accounting standards and internal controls.

  • Assist with audits, clean-ups, catch-up bookkeeping, and workflow optimization.

  • Utilize QuickBooks Online efficiently to maintain system integrity and client data security.

Qualifications

  • QBO Certified ProAdvisor (mandatory)

  • Minimum 2+ years of US accounting experience

  • Previous experience working with accounting firms (required)

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and common accounting workflows

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets

  • Background in accrual and cash-based accounting

  • Experience handling multiple client books simultaneously (preferred)
